Ban Imposed on Sale and Auction of SBI and IDBI Bank Properties in Vashi, Navi Mumbai

NAVI MUMBAI, Oct 24, 2025 :-The Tourism Tahsil Office, Vashi has issued a strict order prohibiting the State Bank of India (SBI) and IDBI Bank from selling or auctioning certain properties located in Sector-17 and Sector-19A, Vashi, Navi Mumbai.

According to official orders, SBI’s Stressed Asset Recovery Branch (Churchgate, Mumbai – 400020) and IDBI Bank’s Asset Recovery Branch (Wagle Industrial Estate, Thane – 400604) are barred from conducting any sale or auction of:

Unit No. 132, 1st Floor, The Arenja Arcade, Plot No. 04, Sector-17, Vashi, Navi Mumbai, and

Unit No. 4, Ground, First & Second Floor, Banking Complex-II, Plot Nos. 9 & 10, Sector-19A, Mafco Road, Opp. Dana Market, APMC, Vashi, Navi Mumbai – 400703.

The order, issued under reference No. 01/Property Allotment/SBI/TTO8/2025 on August 16, 2025, and No. 01/PropertyAllotment/IDBI Bank/TTO08/2025 on August 22, 2025, clearly transfers the ownership rights of the mentioned properties to the Tourism Tahsil Office.

In exchange, SBI has been allotted land in Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation area with CTS Nos. 1888 and 3440/A, covering over 12,000 sq. ft., while IDBI Bank has been allotted land with CTS No. 501, measuring over 9,100 sq. ft.

The Tourism Tahsil Office has clarified that since April 25, 2025, all ownership rights of these properties belong solely to the Tourism Tahsil Office, Vashi, and both SBI and IDBI Bank have no connection with these assets from August 16, 2025, onward.
