In a gripping second ODI clash at the Adelaide Oval, Australia defeated India by two wickets to secure a 2–0 series win with one match still to play.

Batting first, India managed 264/9 in 50 overs, powered by Rohit Sharma’s 73 and Shreyas Iyer’s 61. Despite a solid start, India’s middle order faltered against Australia’s disciplined bowling attack, led by Adam Zampa, who claimed 4 crucial wickets.

Chasing 265 for victory, Australia faced early setbacks but recovered through Matthew Short’s 74 and Cooper Connolly’s unbeaten 61, steering the hosts home in 46.2 overs.

With this victory, Australia sealed the three-match series 2–0, while India will aim to salvage pride in the final ODI in Sydney.
