Alia Bhatt’s Former Assistant Vedika Shetty Arrested for ₹76 Lakh Financial Fraud

Mumbai:- Vedika Prakash Shetty, who formerly served as the personal assistant to Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, has been arrested for allegedly embezzling ₹76 lakh. The arrest followed a formal complaint filed by Bhatt’s team, accusing Shetty of misappropriating funds during her tenure.
Sources close to the matter revealed that Vedika was responsible for handling both personal and professional financial transactions for the actress. Suspicion arose when irregularities were discovered in the financial records, leading to an internal audit. The investigation reportedly confirmed that Shetty had redirected large sums of money for personal use without approval.
