The Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police on Tuesday seized a Range Rover SUV used by Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, citing illegal tinted windows. The Chandigarh-registered vehicle was stopped during an inspection at Dogra Chowk, where officers found tinted films on its windows — a violation of motor vehicle laws in the region. Authorities stressed that “the law is the same for everyone” and confirmed that the actor was not inside the vehicle at the time. Akshay Kumar, who was in Jammu for the inauguration of a private jewelry showroom, has not issued any statement on the incident.
In a separate development, India has unveiled its first hydrogen-powered train, marking a major leap towards green transportation. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw shared the first visuals on social media platform ‘X’, highlighting its potential for pollution-free and eco-friendly travel. With this achievement, India joins Germany, France, Sweden, and China as the fifth nation to operate hydrogen trains.
