Mumbai : A pigeon feeding centre set up on the footpath near Domino’s Pizza along Lady Jamshedji Road in Mahim West is causing serious inconvenience to pedestrians.
Local residents and daily commuters have voiced complaints that the area is frequently occupied by large numbers of pigeons and scattered bird feed, leaving little room for people to walk. During peak hours, the congested space forces pedestrians to step onto the busy roadway, creating a potential safety hazard.
Citizens are now calling on the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to relocate the feeding zone to a designated, non-disruptive area. As of now, there has been no official response from civic authorities.
