In a shocking development, social media influencer Kamal Kaur, popularly known as “Bhabhi Kamal Kaur,” was found dead under mysterious circumstances inside a locked car near Bathinda Medical University on Wednesday.
The deceased, whose real name was Kanchan Kumari, reportedly garnered over 383,000 followers on Instagram and had a significant presence on YouTube, known for her bold and often controversial content.
Police officials were alerted after a foul odor began emanating from a stationary vehicle parked in the vicinity of the university. Upon arrival, officers discovered Kumari’s lifeless body inside the locked car. The vehicle has since been seized, and the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death.
Authorities have stated that while the investigation is at an early stage, there are indications that the influencer may not have died at the location where her body was found. Preliminary assessments point toward the possibility that the body was placed in the car post-mortem—raising strong suspicion of foul play.
Bathinda police have assured the public that all angles are being thoroughly investigated. “We are examining every detail, from her personal history to forensic evidence. More clarity will emerge once the autopsy report is available,” an official said.
