Indian rapper and hip-hop sensation Emiway Bantai, whose real name is Bilal Shaikh, has received a chilling death threat through a message sent to the official contact number of his music company. The sender, identifying himself as notorious gangster Goldy Brar, demanded ₹1 crore within 24 hours and warned of dire consequences if the demand wasn’t met—including a threat to kill the artist.

The message further claimed connections to multiple criminal syndicates, including the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, the Lawn group, and gangster Rohit Godara. The threat surfaced just days after Emiway released a tribute track in memory of the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, raising speculation about the motive behind the message.

Navi Mumbai police have registered a case and launched a full-scale investigation. Authorities are working to verify the authenticity of the threat and trace the origin of the message. The incident has amplified concerns about the safety of high-profile figures in the entertainment industry, particularly in light of recent incidents involving gang-related extortion and intimidation.

Emiway Bantai is a prominent figure in India’s independent music scene, known for his raw lyricism and self-produced tracks. He recently married model and actress Swaalina in a private ceremony, drawing attention from fans and the media alike
