Dubai Woman Arrested for Trespassing Into Aditya Roy Kapur’s Bandra Flat

Mumbai, May 27, 2025 — A 47-year-old woman from Dubai, Gajala Siddiqui, was arrested on Monday evening after she allegedly trespassed into Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur’s residence in Bandra. The incident has raised new concerns about celebrity safety in the city.

Siddiqui arrived unannounced at Rizvi Heights, where the actor lives. She came straight from the airport carrying gifts and clothes, claiming she was a friend of the actor and insisting on meeting him.

According to the police, Siddiqui convinced Kapur’s house help, Sangita Pawar, that she was an old friend of his. Pawar said in her complaint, “She came around 6 PM and asked if this was Aditya Roy Kapur’s house. When I said yes, she told me she had brought gifts and clothes for him. I believed her and let her inside, informing her that he was out for a shoot.”

When Kapur returned and was informed about the unexpected visitor, he reportedly said he did not know her. Siddiqui allegedly tried to approach him, prompting him to alert the society manager, Jayashree Dunkdu. Kapur’s manager Shruti Rao was also informed, and she called the Khar police.

Despite being asked to leave, Siddiqui refused and stayed for nearly 90 minutes. When the police arrived, they detained her. Officials said she avoided answering questions about why she came or whether she had any contacts in Mumbai. She didn’t have a mobile phone with her, which made it difficult for the police to trace any family or emergency contact.

Siddiqui was booked under Section 331(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for house trespassing. The charge can lead to up to two years in prison. She was served a legal notice and taken to Bandra court on Tuesday.

This incident comes just a week after similar trespassing cases were reported at Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra, raising serious questions about security arrangements for celebrities in Mumbai.
