Tornadoes Kill 21 in Missouri, Kentucky

Powerful storm systems have swept through parts of the Midwest and South, claiming at least 21 lives. In Kentucky alone, severe weather has resulted in the deaths of 14 people—a number that may increase, according to Governor Andy Beshear. In Laurel County, officials confirmed that nine individuals were killed when a suspected tornado struck southeastern Kentucky. The violent storm caused buildings to collapse and even overturned a vehicle on Interstate 75.
