In preparation for Bakri Eid 2025, Mumbai Traffic Police will enforce special traffic curbs in Mankhurd and nearby areas from May 26 to June 9 to ensure smooth traffic flow and public safety. During this period, heavy and light vehicles will be banned 24/7 on key routes, except for BEST buses and essential service vehicles.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes such as the Ghatkopar-Mankhurd Link Road and V.N. Purav Marg. Specific guidelines have been issued for animal transport vehicles, and strict no-parking zones will be in effect near the Deonar abattoir. Temporary parking facilities have been arranged for visitors to the area. Authorities request public cooperation for a safe and hassle-free Bakri Eid celebration.
