Indian Army dogs Phantom, a Belgian Malinois, and Kent, a Labrador, heroically died during counter-terrorism operations in Jammu and Kashmir. Phantom was killed in October 2024 while protecting his unit in Akhnoor, and Kent died in September 2023 shielding her handler in Rajouri. Both dogs exemplified bravery and played crucial roles in Army missions.
