News: National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval arrived at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence at May 7 Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi for a high-level security meeting.
The meeting, which also included Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, and the heads of the three armed forces, comes in the wake of heightened tensions with Pakistan following a deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, that claimed 26 lives, most of them tourists.
Discussions centered on bolstering security measures and strategizing counter-terrorism responses, highlighting the government’s serious approach to national security in light of the escalating situation.
