The Indian government confirmed that, in retaliation for Pakistan’s attempted drone and missile strikes on military installations during the night of May 7–8, 2025, Indian armed forces carried out targeted strikes on air defense radars and systems across multiple locations in Pakistan, including the successful neutralization of Lahore’s air defense network.
