Operation Sindoor is the codename for a series of Indian military airstrikes conducted on May 7, 2025, targeting nine locations across Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir. The operation was a direct response to the Pahalgam attack on April 22, 2025, in which 26 Hindu tourists were killed in Indian-administered Kashmir.
