Thane : – On the auspicious occasion of Akshay Tritiya, the formal inauguration of Devi’s spiritual abode took place at the newly constructed Shri Tuljabhavani Temple in the Pachpakhadi area of Thane city. The temple, established under the initiative of Shiv Sena leader and MLA Jitendra Awhad, welcomed devotees for darshan and prayers.
The event witnessed a large gathering of devotees who visited the temple to seek the blessings of Goddess Tulja Bhavani. MLA Jitendra Awhad, along with former corporator Suhas Desai and Thane assembly chief Hemant Pawar, were present at the ceremony. Visitors also received insights into the architectural design and construction journey of the temple, which blends devotion with modern aesthetics.
The inauguration marked a significant cultural moment for Thane, adding a new spiritual landmark to the city under the broader leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
