Mumbai :- Kudal, Sindhudurg | In a public thanksgiving rally organized by the Shiv Sena in Kudal, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde emphasized the Mahayuti government’s commitment to the holistic development of the Konkan region. Stressing a dual focus on public welfare and infrastructure, Deputy CM Shinde assured accelerated progress through key projects like the completion of the Mumbai-Goa highway and the construction of the Mumbai-Sindhudurg Access Control Road.
He expressed gratitude to the voters of Sindhudurg for their overwhelming support in the assembly elections and acknowledged the relentless efforts of the local Shiv Sainiks, attributing Mahayuti’s victory in eight constituencies to their dedication.
Highlighting future plans, the Deputy CM mentioned increased funding for the Konkan Development Authority and initiatives to create local employment opportunities for the youth. “The support of Konkan’s people is leading the region on a new path,” he said, praising MLA Nilesh Rane’s initiative and asserting Shiv Sena’s active role in current development efforts.
Taking a swipe at the opposition, Shinde criticized their inaction despite securing 20 seats and their absence from a crucial all-party meeting post the Pahelgam attack. Rebutting critics who label him ‘Esanshi’ (temporary), Shinde declared, “I am not just ‘Esanshi’, I am ‘essential’ — a necessity for Maharashtra.”
The event saw the presence of Industry Minister Uday Samant, MLA Nilesh Rane, MLA Kiran Samant, former MLAs Rajan Salvi and Ravindra Phatak, Shiv Sena spokesperson Dr. Jyoti Waghmare, and numerous party members and citizens from the Sindhudurg district.
