Mumbai :- The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) will host a “Pratipalika Sabha” (Alternative Civic House) in Mumbai on April 26. The event is intended to discuss civic issues that, according to MNS, are being neglected in the absence of elected local representatives.
Invitations have been extended to prominent political leaders including Aaditya Thackeray of Shiv Sena (UBT), BJP’s Mumbai City President Ashish Shelar, and Uday Samant, a minister from the Shinde-led Shiv Sena faction.
The MNS claims that citizens’ problems are being overlooked due to the lack of a functioning civic body, and this platform will be used to openly discuss and address various public concerns.
In a symbolic gesture, MNS chief Raj Thackeray applauded Uddhav Thackeray during a recent interaction, which Uddhav reciprocated. However, Aaditya Thackeray declined to comment on the exchange, stating that the gesture was a matter between the two party chiefs.
