Mumbai : Railway has announced a five-hour mega block on its main line this Sunday, affecting train services between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Vidyavihar stations. The block is scheduled for maintenance work, aiming to improve infrastructure and ensure passenger safety.
During the block period, several suburban and long-distance trains will be canceled, rescheduled, or diverted. Commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and expect delays. Alternative transport arrangements, including buses, may be available to minimize inconvenience.
Central Railway officials have urged passengers to check updated schedules before traveling and cooperate with authorities. Regular services are expected to resume after the block concludes.
