Mumbai :- Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP has appealed to Union Minority Affairs Minister Kiran Rijiju to restart the free residential UPSC coaching program at Mumbai’s Hajj House, aiming to support aspirants from minority communities.
The demand follows a representation by Vahid Shaikh, president of the Mumbai JanSeva Sangh, who highlighted the need for accessible and quality UPSC coaching for students from underprivileged backgrounds. Shaikh stressed that such a facility in Mumbai would empower minority youth aspiring for civil services.
The initiative, previously run under the Haj Committee of India, provided free residential coaching but was discontinued. The MP’s letter seeks its revival to ensure equal opportunities for marginalized candidates.
