Mumbai : Anmol Bishnoi, the prime accused in the murder of former minister Baba Siddique, is set to be brought back to India from the United States on Wednesday. Officials confirmed that he will land at Delhi’s IGI Airport around 10 AM, where a heavy police presence has been arranged to ensure a secure handover.
Authorities are currently coordinating to decide which agency will formally arrest him after he is produced in a Delhi court. Bishnoi is wanted in more than 32 criminal cases across the country, including over 20 in Rajasthan, involving extortion, kidnapping, attempted murder, and multiple targeted attacks.
Investigators also link him to the firing incident outside actor Salman Khan’s Bandra residence earlier this year. Bishnoi is believed to have travelled through various countries, including Canada, Kenya, and the U.S., using forged documents to evade arrest.
His deportation is seen as a major breakthrough for Indian agencies working to dismantle the wider Bishnoi gang network. Further details regarding his custody and interrogation are expected after his arrival.
