Mumbai, October 29, 2025: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Mumbai for the India Maritime Week 2025 event at NESCO Exhibition Centre, Goregaon (East), the Mumbai Police has issued a traffic advisory for commuters.
According to the notice, movement of heavy vehicles will remain prohibited on the Western Express Highway (WEH) — between the Vakhola flyover and Dahisar toll naka — from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. today. The restriction aims to ensure smooth traffic flow and security arrangements during the Prime Minister’s convoy movement.
Police have urged motorists to use alternate routes, follow on-ground instructions, and plan travel accordingly to avoid congestion.
