Mumbai : To tackle heavy traffic congestion on LBS Marg, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has proposed the construction of a 4.2-kilometre flyover connecting Kurla (Kalpana Talkies) to Saro-daya Hospital in Ghatkopar.
The civic body is set to begin the tendering process soon. The project, delayed for three years due to pending naval clearances, has now received the necessary approvals.
Once completed, the elevated corridor will provide smoother connectivity between Kurla, Ghatkopar, Andheri, and Mulund, allowing vehicles to directly travel towards Ghatkopar via the flyover and easing pressure on ground-level roads.
