Mumbai : In a major crackdown on illegal narcotics and arms, Malvani Police apprehended several individuals found in possession of 204.60 kg of marijuana, an Indian-made pistol, 4 live cartridges, 2 vehicles, and 5 used mobile phones, with an estimated value of ₹72,30,500.
The raid took place at Gavadvi Temple Gate, Malvani, Malad West, on August 25, 2025, following a tip-off received by PSI Dr. Deepak Hinde. Authorities confirmed that the contraband was intended for sale.
A case has been registered under the NDPS Act and the Indian Arms Act, and the accused are currently in police custody while the investigation continues.
