Pune : In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, Baner Police seized 3.4 kilograms of marijuana and arrested two individuals in an operation at Bloomingdales Society near Jupiter Hospital, Baner. The arrested suspects, Ravi Vijay Verma and Kaushelendra Nathu Prasad Verma, originally from Uttar Pradesh and residing in Pimple Saudagar, have been charged under multiple sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
Following their arrest, the duo was taken into custody as the police continue their investigation. This action underscores Pune Police’s ongoing commitment to combating drug trafficking and ensuring community safety.
