Jalgaon:-Maharashtra State Minorities Commission member Wasim Burhan has written to Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar demanding urgent action in the mob lynching and murder case of Suleman Rahim Pathan from Jamner, Jalgaon.
Burhan alleged that the main accused have not yet been arrested and that the police probe lacks impartiality, sparking anger among the victim’s family and the Muslim community.
His key demands include the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT), immediate arrest of all prime accused, financial aid and protection for the victim’s family, and the establishment of a state-level mechanism to prevent mob lynching incidents.
