Maharashtra Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan Nominated as NDA’s Vice Presidential Candidate

New Delhi, August 17: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Saturday announced Maharashtra Governor and former Coimbatore MP, C. P. Radhakrishnan, as its candidate for the post of Vice President of India.

Radhakrishnan, a senior BJP leader from Tamil Nadu, has had a long political career, serving two terms as Member of Parliament from Coimbatore. Known for his organizational skills and commitment to social causes, he has also held several key positions within the party over the years.

The announcement comes as the tenure of the current Vice President draws to a close. With the NDA’s numbers in Parliament, Radhakrishnan is expected to secure a smooth victory in the upcoming election.

If elected, he will succeed Jagdeep Dhankhar and become the next Vice President of the country.
