Mumbai : Following heavy and continuous rainfall across the Brihanmumbai area since midnight, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has deployed all its systems and teams on the ground to manage the situation.
Officials, engineers, pump operators, and emergency response teams are on alert to tackle any emergency. Special focus is being given to critical services such as the water supply system, fluid management, Udanchan centers, and measures to prevent rainwater-related disruptions.
BMC has urged citizens to stay indoors as much as possible and avoid unnecessary travel. For assistance and official updates, residents are advised to contact the BMC main control room at 1916.
