Mumbai:- Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Milind Deora has lauded Maharashtra’s top leadership, including Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, for fulfilling a decades-old demand of original residents of Mumbai’s BDD Chawls.
In a statement, Deora expressed gratitude to CM Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar for ensuring justice to the chawl residents.
“I have fought for this cause for many years, and today I feel immense happiness that the people of South Mumbai have finally received their rightful and legally owned homes,” he said, calling it a historic moment for the city’s housing rights movement.
