Mumbai : Dadar (West) BJP leader Akshata Tendulkar has alleged that prostitution activities are being carried out inside an illegal contractor’s shed on Senapati Bapat Marg. She claimed the unauthorized structure, built on encroached public land behind the Solid Waste Management (SWM) beat office, violates civic norms and poses a threat to public safety and community morals.
Tendulkar said the discovery of numerous used condom packets in the area indicated frequent illegal activity. She urged authorities to immediately demolish the shed and take strict action against those involved, warning that residents would otherwise be compelled to seek legal intervention.
Local residents supported her claims, stating that the issue has persisted for a long time and requires urgent action from both civic and police departments.
