Mumbai – The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) will put 149 commercial shops across Mumbai up for sale through an e-auction process. The registration and application window will open on August 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM and close on August 25, 2025, at 11:59 PM. Applicants must complete registration, submit required documents, and pay the earnest money deposit within this period.
In a move aimed at increasing participation, MHADA has lowered the base price for the shops from twice the ready reckoner rate to 1.5 times the rate. The authority expects this revision to make the properties more accessible and boost interest from potential buyers.
