However, due to administrative delays, the order was issued too late in the day—and many schools and colleges continued their routines as usual .
This miscommunication sparked widespread confusion and frustration among parents and students. While government employees received notice of the holiday in time to take the day off, numerous educational institutions remained operational, leaving families exasperated at the lack of clear direction .
Voicing the collective displeasure, parents and students demanded that such important decisions be communicated well in advance to avoid disruptions and ensure preparedness .
