Mumbai : A crucial meeting led by Hon. Minister Ashish Shelar was held at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi, to address the long-pending demand for the resumption of the Dadar–Ratnagiri Passenger Train service. The meeting, confirmed by former Mahim Corporator Sheetal Gambhir Desai, focused on reviving the essential transport link that thousands rely on for work, education, and daily travel between Mumbai and the Konkan region.
Minister Shelar instructed railway officials to take immediate and effective steps to restart the service. Senior officials, including the General Manager of Central Railway and Divisional Railway Managers from Central and Konkan Railways, attended the meeting, which discussed scheduling, infrastructure, and commuter facilities.
The move has sparked renewed hope among residents and daily passengers eagerly awaiting the return of this vital train service.
