Renowned spiritual leader Aniruddhacharya has once again found himself at the center of controversy after making provocative statements about live-in relationships. In a recent interview, he questioned the moral implications of such arrangements, saying, “If someone lives with one person today and another tomorrow, how can the children born after marriage have good character?”
His remarks have drawn sharp criticism, with many accusing him of making regressive and judgmental comments. Responding to the backlash, Aniruddhacharya claimed that his statements were misrepresented by the media and said there is an ongoing attempt to defame spiritual leaders by twisting their words.
This comes on the heels of his previous controversial comments related to women and marriage, which had already triggered widespread debate.
