Mumbai :
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Commissioner and Administrator Bhushan Gagrani has directed officials to ensure that citizen complaints are easily accessible and promptly resolved. Emphasis was laid on establishing effective systems for addressing public grievances without delay.
In a high-level meeting held at the Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Zoo and Garden (Byculla), Gagrani also instructed immediate removal of abandoned vehicles and scrap materials that obstruct public movement and transport.
Further, the Commissioner emphasized strict action against commercial establishments misusing their basement parking spaces for non-permitted purposes, especially those situated on key commercial routes.
The review meeting focused on various ongoing projects and schemes, discussing challenges and measures to enhance administrative efficiency.
Senior officials including Additional Municipal Commissioners Dr. Vipin Sharma (Western Suburbs), Dr. Ashwini Joshi (City), Dr. Amit Saini (Eastern Suburbs), Mr. Abhijit Bangar (Projects), and Assistant Commissioner Dr. Gangadharan D. were present, along with all senior officers of the Corporation.
