Mumbai Gets First 24×7 Rail Coach Restaurant at Bandra Station During Bandra Mahotsav

Mumbai: In a unique blend of heritage and innovation, Western Railway’s Mumbai Central Division has inaugurated a 24×7 Rail Coach Restaurant at Bandra Railway Station. The repurposed, air-conditioned railway coach offers a state-of-the-art dining experience and was unveiled during the ongoing Bandra Station Mahotsav.

Union Minister Ramdas Athawale and Maharashtra IT & Cultural Affairs Minister Adv. Ashish Shelar jointly inaugurated the restaurant, which is set to serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes around the clock.

The facility is designed to cater to daily commuters, tourists, and food lovers, offering a comfortable and accessible culinary space without compromising on service or ambiance. Railway officials say it’s a step toward enhancing passenger amenities while preserving railway heritage.
