Ulhasnagar: Man Held with 1.6 kg Ganja After Police Trap Based on Tip-Off

Ulhasnagar, July 20 – In a swift action based on a local tip-off, Ulhasnagar police arrested a man on Friday for allegedly possessing and attempting to sell ganja. Acting on the information that the suspect would arrive to sell the contraband, a police team laid a trap at the specified location.

The man, identified as Chinchole, was detained and found carrying 1.6 kilograms of ganja during a search. He was immediately taken to the police station for questioning.

Preliminary interrogation revealed that Chinchole had come to sell the narcotics to an unidentified buyer. Police have registered a case under the relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and further investigation is underway to identify his network.
