Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) Rajya Sabha MP Milind Deora led a high-level delegation today, comprising representatives from the Indian Hotel and Restaurant Association (AHAR) and the Bunts Sangha, to meet Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.
The delegation held discussions focused on key challenges facing the hotel and restaurant industry—an essential pillar of the state’s economy. AHAR, considered the leading voice of Maharashtra’s hospitality sector, represents thousands of establishments and directly employs over 20 lakh people.
The meeting highlighted the industry’s demands for policy support, regulatory relief, and infrastructural development to ensure sustainable growth and employment within the sector.
