Dan Rivera, a celebrated paranormal investigator, passed away under mysterious circumstances on the night of July 13, 2025. He was 54 years old and served as the senior lead investigator for the New England Society for Psychic Research (NESPR), one of the oldest paranormal research organizations in the U.S.
Rivera was actively participating in the “Devils on the Run” tour, which featured the infamous haunted Raggedy Ann doll known as Annabelle. The doll, said to be cursed, has a dark history and was allegedly linked to several unexplained phenomena since it was first gifted to a nursing student in 1968.
Following Rivera’s sudden death, speculation arose among paranormal enthusiasts that the haunted Annabelle doll might be responsible. However, authorities have not found any evidence of foul play or confirmed any suspicious cause behind his death.
Annabelle has long been a controversial and feared artifact in the paranormal world, believed to trigger strange occurrences around those who come into contact with her.
Rivera’s death has left the paranormal community in shock, and discussions around the mysterious power of Annabelle have once again resurfaced.
