Nagpur : The Nagpur police have launched a manhunt after a well-dressed woman brazenly snatched an expensive ring from a renowned jewelry shop inside a mall, all caught on CCTV.
According to investigators, the woman entered the store posing as a customer. While engaging the salesperson in conversation, she deftly removed a costly ring from the display tray, slid it onto her left-hand finger, then discreetly tucked it into her pocket once she was sure no one was watching .
The entire incident was captured by the mall’s surveillance cameras. Upon reviewing the footage, the jewelry store staff alerted authorities. The police confirm that they are currently reviewing CCTV footage to trace the suspect and have issued an active manhunt.
