BMC Drinking Water Pipeline Bursts at MHADA Entry in Malwani, Malad

Mumbai : A major BMC drinking water pipeline burst occurred early morning at the MHADA entry in Malwani, Malad (West), causing water to gush out with immense force and flooding the surrounding area. The incident has led to significant water wastage and disruption in the locality.

According to local sources and video footage, the water pressure was so intense that it damaged the road surface and created panic among commuters. The burst reportedly affected water supply in parts of Malad and neighboring areas.

BMC officials were promptly informed and emergency repair work is currently underway. Authorities have urged residents to remain patient as water supply may remain disrupted for a few hours until the situation is brought under control.

Further investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the pipeline failure.
