A routine traffic check turned violent in Nalasopara East when a youth, stopped for riding without a helmet and number plate, attacked traffic police officers. The situation escalated as the youth, his father, and another accomplice physically assaulted two on-duty officers.
The incident, caught on camera by bystanders, quickly went viral on social media, sparking widespread condemnation. The video shows the trio arguing with the traffic personnel before launching a violent assault.
Tulinj Police acted swiftly, arresting all three accused. An FIR has been filed, and the individuals now face serious charges, including assaulting public servants and obstructing them from carrying out their official duties.
