95% Work Completed on Mumbai-Pune Expressway Missing Link: Eknath Shinde Reviews Progress

Mumbai :- The construction of the crucial ‘Missing Link’ project on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway has reached 95% completion, according to Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. In a recent high-level review meeting, Shinde emphasized the importance of timely completion to significantly reduce travel time between Mumbai and Pune.
The project, which includes the construction of two tunnels and several bridges, is aimed at decongesting the heavy traffic and enhancing road safety on the existing expressway. Officials stated that the work is progressing at a rapid pace and that final touches, including road surfacing and safety measures, are underway.
Chief Minister Shinde has directed authorities to maintain the highest quality standards and ensure that the link becomes operational without further delay. Once completed, the Missing Link is expected to cut down travel time by approximately 20 to 25 minutes, offering commuters a faster and smoother journey between the two cities.
